About Angel
Angel Amaro is a clarinetist from Dodge City, Kansas, currently completing his fifth year at Kansas State University, where he is pursuing degrees in Music Performance and Music Education. He serves as principal clarinetist for the K-State Symphony Orchestra and K-State Wind Ensemble and is an active member of the K-State Clarinet Choir. He also does outreach concerts as a founding member of the Sunflower Clarinet Quartet. Angel also maintains a healthy private lesson studio.
He has performed as an orchestral soloist in both Lithuania and Latvia, experiences that have strengthened his passion for strengthening connections with music across cultures. In Spring of 2026, he will perform in Carnegie Hall and will graduate that same semester. He plans to continue his education by pursuing a Master of Music in Music Performance.
